Anxiety is definitely worsened by blue light from screens. When anxiety comes the last thing that will help is being on your computer, phone or even just watching tv. Blue light stimulates the brain and with anxiety it is already on edge so extra will increase anxiety more. It is proven to increase stress,anxiety and causes people to not sleep as well as they would if they just read before bed or something not involving a screen.

Top tips to reduce anxiety with screens are

​

1. Turn your phone off an hour before bed and read instead. This is going to get you to sleep much better then being on your phone before bed

​

2. Wait until you are properly up to turn your phone on in the morning. 

​

3. Don't use your phone when you are anxious as this is going to cause worse anxiety.

​
